AKIRS MPR a strategy towards increased IGR

In its continuous efforts to build an institution that is performance driven geared towards increasing the state Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), the Leadership of Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS) has continued to put strategies in place to boost performance that will produce optimal result.

One of such activity is the Monthly Performance Review (MPR) which seeks to track the performance of AKIRS as regards it set targets.

The institution held the second phase of her Monthly Performance Review (MPR) in Uyo with presentations from Directorates, Assessment Authorities (AAs) and Motor Licencing Authorities (MLAs). The programme will run from Friday 13th April – 14th April, 2018.

Present at the MPR session include; Mr. Okon Okon (Executive Chairman AKIRS), Elder Nse Atang (Executive Director, Finance), Hon. (Dr.) Ekere Afia (Executive Director, Planning, Research and Strategy), Mr. Leo Umana (Executive Director, Enforcement and Recovery), Heads of Directorates, Units, and all the 33 Assessment Authorities (AAs) and 31 Motor Licencing Authorities (MLAs).
